Everyday Foundations

You do not need a dog who can perform twenty impressive tricks. You need a dog who can hear you when something interesting happens, walk with you without turning every outing into a towing exercise and cope with ordinary everyday situations.Everyday Foundations is a six-week group course for older puppies and adult dogs, focused on the practical skills that make life together easier.

Dogs do not need to know everything before joiningDogs arrive with different experiences and different strengths. One may have a lovely recall but find settling difficult. Another may walk beautifully on lead until another dog appears. A rescue dog may never have attended a class before. Exercises will be adjusted so dogs can work at an appropriate level rather than expecting identical progress at identical speed.

One-to-One Training

Individual training can be a good option if you have one particular training issue to work on, prefer one-to-one help or feel your dog would learn better away from a group environment.Sessions can focus on everyday skills such as recall, lead walking, settling, greetings, confidence, engagement and working around distractions.Training is built around you, your dog and the life you actually live together, with practical exercises you can continue between sessions.
